Concerning Shawny

Concerning the traitor Shawny. My village is right next to his (cats 28 minutes away). I began pummeling his village when I received a message that his alliance and ours are NAPS (I still don't know what NAPS means? yes, newbie). I got word from AdamLZJ to continue to pummel him. Then I received a message from the Alliance Founder of SWP III, sagesse223, that I should cease attacking Shawny immediately. Now, I just need to know where we stand and will I have backup when I start a war with this alliance?
